A village located in the Southfield Township of the Oakland County in Michigan, Beverly Hills 48025 is a suburb of Detroit. Located mostly in the main branch of the Rouge River, Beverly Hills has an area measuring about 4.02 square miles. The land area measures about 4.00 square miles and .02 square miles is water.

Considered the most populous village in Michigan, it houses about 10, 267 residents as of 2010 US census with 4,038 households, and 2,888 families who call Beverly Hills their home. With a population density of 2,566.8 inhabitants per square mile, the racial makeup of the village is about 0.2% Native American, 2.0% Asian, 6.6% African American, 89.2% White, and 0.4% from other races. Meanwhile Hispanic or Latino composes 1.7% of the total population in Beverly Hills.

Established in 1958 as Westwood which describes it as the west of Woodward Avenue, the village changes its name as Beverly Hills in 1959. It was known as an exclusive community in the country when it was formed in 1958, Beverly Hills was established to be an official government village. The Hour Magazine dubbed Beverly Hills as the “Best Brunch” place in the state with 3,000 guests enjoying a full meal of comfort food each week even on small seating capacity restos.

Today, Beverly Hills offers a wide range of recreational activities for its residents and attracts hundreds of tourist each year. With about 34.5 acres of beautiful nature trails, skating place, sand volleyball during hot days and sledding opportunities during the winter season, Beverly Hills has all the outdoor activities anyone can dream of.

Even though is almost landlocked, it does not compromise the quality of water activities. It’s a popular destination for boating and fishing which has one of the most scenic spots to reel in a different fish species in its waters. People can go hiking, biking, and golfing with lots of sightseeing trip and tourists attractions in and in nearby cities.

Beverly Hills has great colleges and universities, offering its residents quality higher education. Some of the campuses in the village include Oakland Community College-Bloomfield Hills Campus, Lawrence Technological University, and University of Phoenix-Detroit Campus.
